Time to prepare for PAYE Modernisation.
PAYE Modernisation is the biggest change made to the PAYE taxation system since its introduction in the 1960’s. This new real time reporting system will be in effect from 1st January 2019.
PAYE Modernisation will require current employers, agents and payroll providers to review their current payroll processes to ensure that they meet the new requirements.
It will mean employees, employers and Revenue will have the most up to date and accurate information. Reporting obligations for employers will increase. P30’s P45’s and P60’s will be abolished, and instead of the yearly P35 balancing submission and Employer Submission will have to be made to Revenue each pay period.
